Lindsey is 11 months old

Lindsey is 11 months old! I just can't believe she will be 1 year old in only 27 days. We've had a fun, but busy month with lots of playing, crawling, cruising, climbing, clapping, laughing, kissing and pointing. She is learning how to play with her toys and interacting more with the family. She's all up in everyone's business - try to open a door or gate, put on shoes, eat, change the channel, open the mail, do homework, check email, open the fridge....she's there, lickety-split. She knows what 'no' means and thinks it's funny. We've been going to the playground alot this month and she is now getting to swing and go down the slide (with me holding her). She loves swinging and sliding and laughs and screams the whole time. One of the most fun developments this month is pointing - she points to what she wants or where she wants to go.

Who's the Goosey now?? Lindsey starting climbing this month - into her old bassinet, onto furniture and...into the blanket basket. That used to be Goosey's favorite place to nap until Lindsey was born. Goosey naps in Parker's room now. Looks like somebody else thinks the basket is comfy!

Lindsey is sledding

Parker has been inventing again - this time it's a 'baby sled' designed for older siblings to pull. Lindsey certainly loves it and he allows her to bring toys along to play during the ride. Notice he built in a safety feature - pillow backrest so if she falls back her head will hit a nice soft surface.

Lindsey sledding, Parker providing horsepower (that's his headless body - shout out to Granny)
Playing with some toys on the ride. The day I took this picture she rode for HOURS.

Daddy providing the horsepower - that didn't last long let me tell ya...together they're 80 lbs dragging across carpet!
