Fun at Tropicarium Oceanarium and Pan Peter Playhouse

We had a fun outing this weekend to the Tropicarium Óceanárium and the Pán Péter Játszóház. We finally figured out good timing to have a short adventure between meals and naps!

Lately she's been less of a giver and more receiver. We ask her for a kiss and she presents her cheek to get one instead. Here she's allowing squirrel to kiss her cheek.

So we high-tailed it over to the Peter Pan Funhouse... It was a nice place with toys and play equipment for a range of ages to suit both Parker and LRae. Lindsey got to play in ball pit, go down slide, play on several riding toys and cook in some cool kitchens with other toddlers. Parker got to climb up in rope mazes, jump on huge balls and play ball cannon (that was his fav of course).

Parker had lots of kids and cool stuff to play with but still took some time to play with baby girl. He hauled her up a climbing maze several times to take her down the slide. She loved it!

Lindsey is 20 months old

Lindsey is 20 months old! We had an exciting month moving into our new house and celebrating our first Christmas and New Year's in Budapest. She is getting taller and her little baby rolls have almost disappeared.

Recent Lindsey bits -

• falling and chipping 3 front teeth (one of which has now died and turned gray/brown, sigh)
• loving her snow boots
• taking naps in her new big girl bed
• eating by herself (especially at her new table)
  
• going for walks and adventures with Ms. Andrea
• helping around the house
• cooking us lots of yummy meals in her kitchen
• taking off her diaper
• continued fascination with laundry
• favorite words - No, Yes, Door, Go, Shoes, Magdi, Brother, Parker (We started to make a list of all the words she can say, but it was just too many)

Nickname update - Parker has given Lindsey a new nickname...Wabbergas. At first I chose to ignore this one, ha! However it's been around now for 2 months, so I finally asked Parker what is wabbergas? He said he thinks it is a horribly smelly toxic chemical. I can laugh at this bc I know that he truly adores her. He loves it when Lindsey says "Parker! Where are you?"
