Florida and Disney World Vacation

We had a fabulous vacation trip to Pensacola Beach and Disney World and got to have three mini-visits with Scott and Betty (Glenn's mom). We all had so much fun!

Trip to Colorado

The kids and I visited our good friends Bruce, Danielle, Trey and Allison this summer in Colorado. They treated us to a camping trip in the Rocky Mountains. It was great to spend time with our friends!

Lindsey's first visit from the tooth fairy

Lindsey had her first visit from the tooth fairy! She had to have her two front teeth pulled. They were both damaged when she was a toddler. The one with the root canal had been loose and ready to come out for a while. The other one that was broken and capped developed an abscess so the dentist ordered that both be pulled. She looks so cute with the missing teeth! But we will get a partial put in soon since the dentist says it can be quite a long time before the new teeth come in.

Visit to Houston Museum of Natural Science

This summer the kids and I went to the Houston Museum of Natural Science with friends. It was Lindsey's first time to visit HMNS. Parker has been to the museum quite a few times, but it's been 4 years since his last visit so he was excited to go back.

Happy Birthday to Glenn!

Happy Birthday to Glenn! The kids had a fun time helping to decorate the house (inside and outside) for Glenn's birthday. They made a special birthday present and even helped with the red velvet cake!

Parker had fun at Texas A&M Tennis camp

Parker had a GREAT time at Texas A&M tennis camp this summer! He was so excited to go because 1) he got to stay at A&M for a week 2) he got to play tennis all week and 3) he got to take a break from Lindsey for a week. He loves the girl to death, but during the summer they get a little toooo much togetherness!

Happy 4th of July 2011!!!

Happy 4th of July! We started our holiday a day early with a block party on our street. Parker and Lindsey had a blast playing with the neighborhood kids, eating hot dogs and doing pop-its. The next day we went out to the Fairfield 4th of July parade. It was very very hot, but a fun experience. Then we rigged up a water slide for the kids to play on while Glenn and I undertook a massive garage cleaning. We ended the day with some grilling and chilling. No fireworks this year because of the drought conditions, but it's better to be safe than risk a fire!

Parker had fun at Pine Cove camp

Parker had a fun week at Pine Cove Christian camp this summer. He attended the Ranch camp which is dedicated to middle school students. They did bible studies and lots of fun camp activities. It was a high-energy week...he came home very tired!
