We had a nice October in Budapest enjoying the last remnants of warm, summery weather and then the short-lived autumn with pretty changing leaves. Lindsey was a crafty girl this month, doing many artsy projects and making many of our halloween decorations. When not crafting, she and Ms. A were making the most of the weather by visiting parks, playgrounds and Margaret Island. Parker had a light school schedule in October -- some days off, some early release days and a whole week off for Fall Break. He's been busy outside of school with scouting, sleepovers, home studies and being an awesome big brother.
Parker tidbits -
- loving Toontown. Really getting into the strategy and social dynamics of the game.
- playing Bakugan with his friends and spending his allowance on new ones. I don't get it..but he likes it.
- inventing with Lindsey
- very excited about his Birthday and Christmas coming soon
Lindsey tidbits -
- wanting to wear blue jeans all the time. Preferably with a little pink t-shirt. It's like her daily uniform.
- picking out a new outfit for Doria doll. She picked the only set with blue jeans.
- talking all the time. She has something to say about everything and we get to enjoy listening to her sweet voice and funny stories.
- being a "Baby Doctor". She says "cry Daddy, cry", then she rides the "Nener-Nener bus" to the rescue.
- bursting into tears because "Mommy's toes bleeding" when I came home from pedicure with red polish.
- wanting to hear the Sarah McLachlan Angel song every night
- very happy girl!
